Facilities CAD & Space Data Specialist

Location:  New Jersey, NYC Metro Area (On-site)

Robotech IWMS Solutions provides managed CAFM/IWMS services supporting large corporate facilities environments. We are seeking a Facilities CAD & Space Data Specialist to join our on-site team supporting space management, CAD floor plans, and facilities data operations.

This role supports CAD plans maintenance, facilities space data management, documentation control, and management reporting within a corporate office environment.

This is not an architectural design role and is not focused on construction document production. We are seeking someone with experience supporting facilities, workplace, space management, or corporate real estate operations.

This role provides an opportunity to develop hands-on experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms and corporate space management processes as an active member of an experienced facilities technology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and organize documentation for CAFM QA tracking and filing
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Excel reports for facilities and management teams
  • Prepare and format high-quality, executive-ready reports and presentations in PowerPoint
  • Consolidate inputs from CAFM users and facilities stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to gather CAD plan documents for archival
  • Upload, tag, and maintain CAD drawing files in a document management system
  • Conduct on-site space and asset surveys in corporate office buildings
  • Perform AutoCAD floor plan markups and updates based on field survey to maintain accurate space records
  • Validate and reconcile space and asset survey findings with CAFM data to maintain accurate facilities reporting
  • Update CAD drawings and CAFM database records under supervision
  • Utilize approved AI tools to support reporting automation, data validation, workflow efficiency, and presentation quality improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, architecture, workplace, or corporate real estate support
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience in a facilities or architectural environment
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data consolidation
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, executive-ready reports using PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable working on-site and conducting field surveys
  • Ability to maintain accuracy across CAD drawings, documentation, and database records
  • Working familiarity with AI tools to enhance reporting, analytics, validation, and workflow efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CAFM / IWMS systems such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, Planon, FM Systems, iOffice, or similar
  • Experience supporting space management, occupancy data, asset data, or facilities recordkeeping
  • Interest in developing deeper expertise in CAFM/IWMS platforms such as Archibus is a plus.
